03 Legal information
Privacy policy.
MovieSport protects your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. This page describes what we collect, why, for how long and how to exercise your rights. This translation is provided for convenience; the French version prevails.
01Data controller
The data controller is the site publisher: HoBo & MoJo, SARL, Centre Europe, 83700 Saint-Raphaël, France. For any question about your data: contact@moviesport.fr.
02Data collected
- Account
- First name, email address and password, stored in encrypted form. Required to create and manage your access.
- Purchase
- Email, plan chosen, amount, date and transaction ID sent by Stripe. No bank data is stored by MovieSport.
- Profile
- Goal, level, training days and duration, equipment, year of birth, height, and sex if you choose to provide it: used to recommend and adapt your program.
- Training
- The program you follow, your calendar, sessions, sets, loads, records and perceived effort, which you enter in the member area.
- Health
- Weight, body measurements, progress photos, answers to the PAR-Q+ health questionnaire, pain scores, allergies and calculated nutrition targets. This data is only recorded with your explicit consent. Photos remain private; your measurements can also be viewed by the MovieSport team to support your progress.
- Calendar and reminders
- A private calendar address, if you subscribe your calendar to your sessions, and your choice to receive an email reminder or not.
- Waiting list
- Email address and the shop product you are interested in, to notify you when it launches.
- History
- If you used the site’s former recommendation tool: your email and your answers (goal, level, availability). This tool is no longer offered.
- Messages
- The content of your exchanges with us, when you write to us.
- Technical
- Server logs (IP address, date, page requested), kept by the host for site security.
No audience measurement, advertising or ad-tracking tool is used on the site.
MovieSport does not provide medical diagnosis and does not replace the advice of a health professional. Tracking data is used only to display your progress.
03Purposes, legal bases and retention periods

Your data is never used for marketing without your consent.
Health data: your consent is requested separately, before anything is entered. You can withdraw it at any time from the Account tab of your member area: your measurements, photos, health questionnaire answers, pain scores and nutrition targets are then permanently deleted. Your sessions and records remain.
Photos: they are stored in a private space, never at a public address, and their metadata (device, location) is removed on upload.
Calendar: the subscription address only contains the title, date and duration of your sessions. If you shared it by mistake, generate a new one from your account: the old one stops working.
04Cookies
The site only uses cookies strictly necessary for it to work: session and member space sign-in. They do not require consent.
No audience measurement, advertising or social media cookies are set. The payment page, hosted by Stripe, applies its own cookie policy.
05Recipients and processors
Your data is intended for MovieSport and its technical providers only:
- Payment
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland.
- Hosting
- Infomaniak Network SA, Les Acacias (GE), Switzerland.
- Emails
- Transactional email provider, being configured.
No data is sold or rented. Switzerland benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision. Stripe may transfer certain data outside the European Union, under appropriate safeguards.
06Security
Encrypted connection (HTTPS), hashed passwords, restricted data access and regular backups: MovieSport implements appropriate technical and organizational measures.
07Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- access to your data and rectification;
- erasure and restriction of processing;
- portability;
- objection;
- withdrawal of your consent at any time;
- instructions on what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise them, write to contact@moviesport.fr. We reply within one month. On request, we send you a complete export of your data (account, training, health, purchases).
If you disagree, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) at cnil.fr.
08Updates
This policy may change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Members are informed by email of any significant change.
